We are a Bhutanese travel company offering tours and treks in the Kingdom of Bhutan. Based in Bhutan and with years of experience in arranging tours for visitors to Bhutan.
Tour Costs

The Council of Bhutan Tourism (CBT) (previously Department of Tourism (DOT), regulates all tourism related activities in Bhutan. All tour operators are registered with them, and the CBT also fixes the daily tariff rates. Thirty-five percent of the daily cost goes directly to the CBT and hence to the national treasury. These funds are used by the government for the socioeconomic development of Bhutan.

Besides the above, US$ 10 per person on whole tour goes to Tourism Development Fund. Hospitals, schools, and roads are built and maintained with the income. CBT has released a travel information booklet detailing their role and the regulations by which all tour operators are governed.

The normal rates for tours in Bhutan are as follows:

High Season Tariff

US$ 200 per person per night (February, March, April, May, August, September, October, November & December).

Low Season Tariff

US$ 165 per person per night (January, June & July).
Note: Both the above rates are the same for cultural tours, treks or any other special interest tours

Surcharge

Individual tourists and smaller groups (FITs) of less than three persons shall be subject to surcharges as below:

Single Individual: US$ 40 per person.
Group of 02: US$ 30 per person per night.
These FIT surcharges are net payable (non-commissionable).

Please do not think the daily rate is high. But remember that this includes all your accommodation, all meals, guided tours, and all transportation within Bhutan as per tour itinerary.

Payment Procedures

Tour payment must be sent 90 days prior to your departure. Please remember, faster you confirm and make payment, better it is for getting seats in Druk-Air and good hotels.
