Tour Payment
It is the requirement by tourism policy that all payment is made in full for the entire tour. Tour payment must be sent to Geo-Cultural in Bhutan by Bank transfer, as soon as you confirm the tour within the specified time frame. Services are confirmed subject to advance payment only. We will provide the full information on remittance of tour payment when we cost your requirements.

During the high season month (Jan, Feb, March, April, May, Sept, Oct, Nov & Dec), it is advisable to remit payment for Druk Air flights 3 months in advance. This will help us to obtain confirmed seats on the requested flights.

Insurance
Personal travel insurance is not included in the holiday prices quoted. While every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants, it is a condition of booking that you take out a personal travel insurance policy. To protect against unforeseen circumstances, it is advisable to take a "Trip cancellations and medical insurance policy" before your arrival into Bhutan. Such medical policy should cover transportation costs in the event of helicopter or surface evacuation being required. This is mandatory, especially for those taking treks in high altitude in case of any emergency evacuation.

Discounts
Following discounts are given accordingly:
a. Diplomats from foreign embassies/missions accredited to Bhutan shall be given 25% discount on the daily rates.

b. There shall be no charge for CHILDREN up to the age of 5 years. However, those between the ages of 6 to 12 years accompanied by elders/guardians shall be given 50% discount on daily rates.

c. Full time STUDENTS below the age of 25 years holding valid identity cards from their academic
institutions shall also be given a 25% discount on daily rates.

d. A discount of 50% on daily rates shall be given to one person in a group of 11 to 15 people. 100%
discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.

e. A discount of 10% on the daily rates shall be provided for halts between 11 to 20 nights and 20% discount on halts beyond 21 nights.

f. Visitors availing discount under Sections a, b & c shall not be eligible for discount under E).

Cancellations
Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows:

a. Within 30 days of the start of the tour programme – Free (less administrative fees)

b. Within 21 days - 15% of the rate plus administrative fees

c. Within 14 days - 20% of the rate plus administrative fees

d. Within 7 days - 30% of the rate plus administrative fees

e. Less than 7 days or cancellation without notice - 50% of the rate

f. After arrival in Bhutan - 100% (no refund)

Any changes by you are made at our discretion.

Responsibility & Liability
All mentioned tours shall be carried out under the management of Geo-Cultural Tours & Treks in Bhutan.

Holiday in Bhutan reserves the right to make cancellations or other changes in the itinerary if any unseen circumstance arises. It shall not be held liable for any costs rising from airline delays, weather conditions, or rise in costs before payment due to alterations made by the hotel and airlines involved.
